...Michael was truly a great person, so full of life and so uplifting in spirit. There was never a time when I was in his presence that I did not smile and have my heart warmed, usually because of his awesome sense of humor. This is the most treasured memory that I will always have of him (and try to emulate in my own life)-that when Michael entered the room, everyone got happier. He was truly a spirit-lifter and life-giver in the sense that he never failed to share some comment or crack some joke that made you smile or laugh...I really appreciated that for such a talented and accomplished person, Michael seemed to operate without ego...I always admired him as a person because he was truly a 'stand-up guy.' His character was impeccable, which I respected and appreciated immediately...Of all the gifts that Mike has given me over the years, this appreciation for life is the greatest. I'm thankful...for having shared him with me for so many (but too few) years...

As we reflect on the gift of his life, we cannot help but smile, because Michael brought so many to us over the years. He was truly someone whose gift was to enrich the lives of others-don't we all have countless cherished memories of 'Michael-isms'?!?! He will live on in our hearts forever, gifting us eternally with happiness and, indeed, life. As we reflect on this, it's absolutely true that Michael really did have 'skills'.
